Welcome to the WebMe newsletter

It's been a while since our last newsletter, the reason for this is that we have been so busy! Great news. The biggest project that we have been working on is updating our company website, a facelift was long overdue. Check it out here: www.webme.co.uk and let us know what you think.

In this issue we've gone a bit "mobile", we will let you know about our new mobile phone website builder and also give an overview of the .tel domain extension that is just about to celebrate its 2nd birthday.

Quick and easy to set up, goMobi gives you all the tools you need to create a site specifically optimised for mobile phones. Using the mobile website builder wizard, tailor your information and create content especially for your mobile website visitors.

Mobile internet users don’t want to navigate a web page full of text, images or videos to find the information they need. Make life easier for them with features such as one click to call you, call back request, appointment booking forms, clear opening times, Google Maps integration, social media links, coupons and much more.

Order from the Add-Ons page in your WebMe control panel.

.tel Is 2

.tel

Over the past two years, .tel has grown in its features and presentation. Over the past two years we've heard some great stories of how people are using their .tel domains. From CEO's to celebrities, pilots to professional communicators.

.tel integrates well with Google Maps. This integration has become possible due to the support for the hCard microformat built into .tel pages. All the relevant information you enter into your .tel is marked up with corresponding hCard format fields, such as geo position, name and address. Google's services support hCard as well as other microformats and rich data snippets in a bid to provide users with "the most useful and informative search results".

.tel can also be very useful in your SEO campaigns, read about it here: http://telnic.org/tour-seo.html

Search for your .tel via your WebMe control panel here: https://control.webme.co.uk/domain-search.php and order by contacting customer support.

That's it for this newsletter. If you wish to discuss anything mentioned here in more detail then please log a support ticket.
